Although the nearest shopping facilities are only a 15 minute drive away we recommend that you note the following in order to maximize your comfort during your stay :-

  • Good quality sunglasses – preferably polarized. Tinted fashion glasses are not good in the strong African sunlight
  • Sun hats
  • Golf-shirts, T-shirts and long-sleeved cotton shirts
  • Shorts / skirts
  • Long trousers / slacks
  • Track suit
  • Underwear (sports bra recommended on game drives as the roads can be bumpy and uneven) and socks
  • Good walking shoes (running / tennis shoes are suitable)
  • Sandals
  • Swimming costume
  • Warm winter jersey
  • Warm parka, scarf, gloves and anorak for the cold winter months (May to September)
  • Light rain gear for summer months (October to April)
  • Cameras and waterproof / dustproof bags / covers
  • Should you wear contact lenses we recommend that you bring a pair of glasses in the event of eye irritation
